It was a fun and educational morning for those alumni who attended the Alumni Council's fall event: The Alumni Master Classes on Saturday, November 6.
Four-time Emmy Award-winning television producer Marci Klein '84 provided insight into the business of comedy television; Andy Bellin '86, bestselling author of
Poker Nation, taught the technical art that is poker; Actress Mary Stuart Masterson '84 led an improv acting class; chess lovers faced off against Chess Grandmaster Maxim Dlugy '84; Professional dancers Erik Novoa '91 and his wife Anna Brady taught a lively group a crash course in West Coast Swing; Author A.J. Jacobs '86 gave guidance to writers interested in writing memoirs and first-person magazine articles; Dalton legend Carmino Ravosa led a group of alumni and their young children in song; Decorator Noel Jeffrey provided an overview of his beautiful, high-end design; Jane Steinberg Wagman '87 and her sister Liz Lange of Shopafrolic.com offered insightful fashion advice and guidance on how to navigate online shopping and choose what's best for you -- from logical to aspirational buys.
