Dalton's parent body is a widely diverse group in terms of culture, race, socio-economics, religion, family style, geographic location, and parent occupation. The school seeks parents who are community-minded, grounded in positive values, and committed to active participation in the life of the school. Dalton strives to make all parents feel welcomed and connected to the school, as well as to each other. Through the efforts of the Administration, the Board of Trustees, the Dalton Council, and the PA, the school provides numerous ways for parents to interact with each other and participate in activities that foster community spirit.
