Planned Giving
Dalton wouldn't exist had it not been for the foresight of Mrs. W. Murray Crane, who by virtue of her husband's family business, the Crane Paper Company, since 1801 in Dalton, Massachusetts, provided the financial support Dalton founder Helen Parkhurst required to found a school. Dalton's Middle School and High School libraries bear the Crane name.
Mrs. W. Murray Crane's visionary gift during her lifetime was an important beginning. Like all non-profit institutions, The Dalton School relies on the ongoing generosity of its community. There are a wide variety of Planned Giving options which will improve your own financial and tax situation, while you support Dalton. With your help, future generations of students will benefit from an exceptional Dalton education and will "go forth unafraid" well prepared for the challenges ahead.
