The dramatic arts are introduced in sixth and seventh grades. In eighth grade, students may elect to concentrate in theater as one of two required arts courses. Theater study touches upon the many aspects of acting and stage production during the year, including rehearsing, performance, and improvisation exercises and games. All students in sixth through eighth grades may audition for, and participate in, the annual Middle School production of a play or musical.
