Our Philosophy
A Dalton Summer is dedicated to providing a happy and memorable summer experience for boys and girls, ages 3 through 10.
Each day we offer a balanced schedule of physical, creative, and fun-filled activities in a relaxed and nurturing environment. The program varies according to the ages, needs and interests of the children.
When we plan A Dalton Summer, we keep in mind that early childhood is filled with wonders. The responsibility to maintain each child’s sense of joy is one that we take to heart. Our goal is to stimulate and broaden every child’s interest in the world around them. It is in this spirit that A Dalton Summer was created.

A Dalton Summer expands for 2010!
A Dalton Summer – First Program
We offer a hands-on, age-appropriate introduction to the world of summer camp. Summer days filled with music, art, PE, discovery, water play and special days, such as Pajama Day Sundaes on Mondays, Icee Nicees, Costume Day, Carnival and The Show.
A Dalton Summer Adventure
BIG kids get a BIG Dalton experience. An adventurous summer filled with music, computers, and swimming, plus PE at 87th Street and sports and recreation on Randall’s Island. Our special days include as Pajama Day, Sundaes on Mondays, Costume Day, Field Day, Song Contest and many exciting field trips to some of New York’s most memorable attractions.
A Dalton Summer runs from June 21st to July 30th, 2010. A Dalton Summer, for campers ages 3 and 4, will take place at Dalton’s First Program (53-63 East 91st Street). A Dalton Adventure, for campers ages 5 thru 10, will take place at Big Dalton (108 East 89th Street) Camp will be closed on Monday, July 5th.
*Full day, half-day and early dismissal options are available.
*Please remember, campers must be 5 by June 21st, 2010 in order to participate in A Dalton Summer Adventure.
