Summer Camp Staff and Directory

Our Staff

A Dalton Summer has a staff of more than 125 responsible, caring and skilled individuals, including a leadership team that comprises teachers and administrators from The Dalton School.

Staff members have been selected for their outstanding talents and leadership qualities; their experience in the field of early childhood education; their ability to establish warm relationships with children; and their skills at promoting the physical, social and emotional growth of your children.

Teddy Frischling has been the Director of A Dalton Summer since 1999. He is also the Athletic Director of The Dalton School and a Dalton Alumnus. In addition, Teddy is the Director of the DRIBBL Basketball Program and served for many years as a head counselor at Brant Lake Camp.

Carol Cox has been involved with A Dalton Summer since 1993. As Senior Associate Director, "Coxy" also oversees the science program for our campers. During the school year, Coxy is the Head of Dalton’s Lower School science program.

Our Associate Director, Craig Stolzberg, has been with A Dalton Summer since 2004. He is also the Associate Athletic Director at The Dalton School and an Assistant Director of the DRIBBL Basketball Program. As a Physical Education instructor, Craig mentors the youngest children, Grades K-2, and also coaches the varsity baseball team.

Teddy, Coxy and Craig can be found outside of camp every morning and each afternoon meeting and greeting our campers.

A nurse is always on-site when camp is in session, and our key staff members are certified in advanced First Aid and CPR, as required by the Board of Health.

Additional assistants are always provided for activities that take place off-site.
