Favorite thing about Dalton: The opportunities to learn outside of the curriculum. My favorite moments at Dalton have come from pushing beyond the bounds of the class with a teacher through labs or an independent study.
Place at Dalton you’ll most likely find me: Eating fresh bread in the teaching kitchen on the 14th floor.
Describe Dalton in one word: Curiosity

#1 reason I recommend Dalton: The community. The students here genuinely care about each other and while we are all academically motivated, the environment is not at all competitive.
Independent study I’ve taken at Dalton: An independent study on Supreme Court Cases involving First Amendment rights
The most memorable thing I’ve learned at Dalton: I've learned to how speak confidently in and out of class on topics I am passionate about. Being informed is only half the equation; Dalton has taught me how to effectively share my thoughts with others as well.
Fun fact: I picked up pole vaulting during my first year at Dalton.
