Entered Dalton in
Academic Interests: My academic interests are Math/Math team, Latin, and English.
Activities: I am interested in Community Service mainly. I tutor a couple times a week at P.S. 163 and I volunteer with a program called Friendship Circle run through Chabad. I am also the Fundraising Branch Head of Habitat for Humanity, and I TA the Middle School Math Team. Volleyball is another interest of mine, as well as working on the Daltonian.
Favorite class at Dalton: My favorite classes at Dalton are Math, Latin, and my independent study in Ancient Greek.
Favorite thing about Dalton: I think my personal favorite thing about Dalton are the amazing teachers I have met and the friends I have made. Also, the fact that I am able to learn specifically what I am interested in (such as my independent study) is something so uniquely Dalton.
Place at Dalton you’ll most likely find me: I'll most likely be found in the Middle School Library, as I am close with the library teacher, and I have found that when there are no classes going in on there, it is by far the most quiet.
Best Dalton tradition: My favorite Dalton tradition is Homecoming, as there is such a great sense of community when every student comes to support our teams.
#1 reason I recommend Dalton: I think it is the best place as there is the opportunity to explore new interests and meet likeminded people who have a passion for intellectual discovery and learning.
Books on my nightstand: Some of my favorite books include Beartown by Fredrik Backman, Normal People by Sally Rooney, and I Have the Right To by Chessy Prout.
Independent study I’ve taken at Dalton: Currently, I am taking an independent study in Ancient Greek.
