Madeline '21

Entered Dalton in
Kindergarten
Academic Interests: Loves gender studies, history and astronomy.
Activities: Interns with Women Across Frontiers Magazine, Ski Instructor, Fellow in a NFTY feminism fellowship, Dance, Volunteers with Reading Buddies and the Central Synagogue breakfast program
Favorite thing about Dalton: The ability to form connections with teachers and peers in lab settings and small classes.
Place at Dalton you’ll most likely find me: Probably the 11th and 12th floor benches.
Describe Dalton in one word: Dedicated
Best Dalton tradition: symposiums
#1 reason I recommend Dalton: The ability to form connections and debate for your beliefs.
Books on my nightstand: Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, The h8 U give by Angie Thomas, Bad Feminist by Roxanne Gay
Study snack of choice: Goldfish and Fruit snacks:)
Superpower I’d most like to have: The ability to be able to speak and understand different languages without missing a beat. That way I would be able to understand everyone and everything, which seems pretty cool.
Something you can’t tell just by looking at me: I'm not Irish, just ginger.
Spirit Animal: Probably a duck but my friends say a carrot.
