HS Spanish Class Engages in Service Learning with Pulsera Project
HS Spanish 2 students engaged with a community service learning project entitled Pulsera Project earlier this month.
They learned about artisans, communities, culture, and other students in rural communities in Nicaragua and Guatemala. In addition, students sold pulseras (bracelets) and bolsitas (handwoven bags).
Dalton joined other schools around the nation to participate in this year’s project. All proceeds from the sale support artisans and schools in underserved communities.
