Dalton Tiger Report - This Week In Athletics (4-21)

Despite a tough loss on Thursday, the Dalton Baseball team had a nice week with two league wins. After three consecutive losses by two runs or less, Dalton finally broke through, defeating Fieldston by a score of 5-1 on Tuesday, April 16 and crushing Trinity 13-3 on Wednesday, April 17. The two victories put Dalton right in the middle of the pack of the Ivy League as the team prepares to take on the second half of their schedule in hopes of an NYSAIS postseason appearance.

The Softball team had a decisive 14-0 victory over Trinity on Wednesday, April 17. Led by a stellar pitching performance by senior Noelani Wing '19, the Tigers shut out their rival in an important league win. With a record of 2-3, Dalton has one more league game next Wednesday, April 24 against Riverdale before preparing for a rematch at Poly Prep on Saturday, April 27.
