Dalton Community Gathers for Fun-Filled Homecoming 2021

On a picturesque fall Saturday, friends, families, alumni, faculty, and staff flocked to Randall’s Island for a fun-filled day of activities. Attendees donned their Dalton Blue with pride as they enjoyed music, games, barbecue, and even School-themed donuts!

Interim Head of School Ellen Stein helped kick off the football team’s 32-13 victory over Newark Academy by participating in the ceremonial pregame coin toss. 

“After what we’ve been through over the last 18 months. It was great to have the whole community together and full of spirit," Ellen said. "It started on Friday in the Gym with volleyball and continued on through Saturday."

Varsity girls’ tennis opened a successful homecoming weekend for Athletics, who earned wins in football, varsity boys’ soccer, and both JV and varsity volleyball.
