Dalton basketball player partners with NBA star to raise money
Junior guard Ayden Khalid helped raise over $12,000 as part of New York Knicks forward Julius Randle's ‘30 for 3' campaign to support the Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball School.
Khalid, along with Randle, who announced the program in November 2021, visited the school together to deliver a check for $880,000 that accounts for the 3-pointers Randle made last season, along with the support from Ayden and other matching donors, including the Knicks, JP Morgan, and the NBA Players Association.
