These three proud beginning Bass Violin students from grade 5 are beaming as they begin their instrumental journey learning to play the thick strings and long bow of this deepest member of the string family, the Bass Violin. Their Middle and High School Music Teacher Jordan Brown commented that he is already seeing progress and was impressed by the students' correct posture and left-hand technique.
While the size and weight of playing and transporting the bass present distinct challenges for these diminutive three, it looks like they are definitely up to the task. Mr. Brown plans to retake their picture when they are seniors in high school. Let's hope they're up for the marathon.
