Dalton Celebrates Head of School Ellen C. Stein

A highlight was the exciting announcement by Board President Alan Klein and former Board President Cheryl Cohen Effron '83 that the new 89th Street STEAM facility will be named the Ellen C. Stein Center for Collaborative Study. In addition to remarks by Head of School Ellen C. Stein, Board President Alan Klein, Head of School-Elect Jim Best, Former Board President John Shapiro, Director of Admissions Babby Krents, and Ema Schumer '18, guests enjoyed performances by talented high school singers and alumni and saw two charming videos (links below). She was also presented with a Commemorative Book full of children's portraits of Ellen and messages from admirers and wellwishers. Also in attendance were former Board Presidents George Doty, Robert Kasdin, Robert Menschel, and Nancy Fuld Neff '72.

A huge thanks to Event Co-Chairs Anita Pamintuan Fusco, Holly Speyer Lipton '91, and Arielle Tepper Madover '90; and Commemorative Book Chair Ian Madover for helping to make this amazing evening a huge success. A standing ovation to our student performers and Dalton Dance teacher Randi Sloan for orchestrating dazzling entertainment.
