Model UN Wins “Best Large Delegation” at Princeton Conference for 3rd Consecutive Year
Dalton’s Model United Nations team got off to a strong start at the Princeton Model United Nations Conference (PMUNC) this past weekend.
Dalton delegates competed across several committees over four action-packed days, covering diverse topics ranging from the Yemeni Displacement Crisis to the current Conflict in Ukraine. Each team member represented a particular nation or individual position, speaking, writing, and collaborating with hundreds of others in order to draft a UN-style resolution to address the global issues of their respective committees.
Dalton performed exceptionally well winning individual awards in General Assembly, Specialized, and Crisis committees for their commendable leadership qualities and consistent contributions to ongoing debate. As a collective, The Dalton School was awarded the Princeton conference’s highest honor, “Best Large Delegation,” for the third consecutive year. We are so proud of everyone who attended and look forward to a fantastic year ahead.
