Mandarin Department Hosts Lunar New Year Celebration

In the virtual event, students, parents, and faculty from all three divisions enjoyed 10 song performances and took part in 12 different breakout rooms with interactive activities such as crafts, storytelling, trivia, and character writing. Sixteen lucky winners even won prizes at the Kahoot games breakout room and raffles.

A very special thanks to our 15 Asian Cultures Club (ACC) students for hosting breakout rooms as well as to Mandarin Teachers Cindy Wu and Liqi Semenov, MS Librarian and House Advisor Ms. Roxanne Feldman, and Director of the World and Classical Languages Department Dr. Lori Langer Ramirez for months of planning, hard work, and dedication to help make this event such a success.
