Dalton French Teacher Allison Albino’s Poetry Featured in Two Publications

Dalton Middle and High School French Teacher Allison Albino published two poems and is featured in the Winter/Spring issue of Alaska Quarterly Review (AQR) and Issue 21 of The Common.
Albino’s first work, entitled “Inheritance,” is inspired by her mother’s fur coat and the childhood memories it elicits. “Inheritance” can be found in the latest edition of Alaska Quarterly Review by clicking here.

In Issue 21 of The Common, Albino shares her poem “Annunciation,” which is about a woman’s right to choose and can be viewed by clicking here. While traveling in Lisbon, Albino was inspired to draft the poem after viewing a painting of the Virgin Mary.
