Impactful Author Visit with 8th Grade

8th grade students have been reading these authors' work in their Literary Circle during the month of February to have thoughtful and deep conversations with each other prior to the visit of Reynolds and Kiely.  During the visit, the authors addressed many questions about literary choices and social justices, especially police brutality and racial inequity based on their co-authored book All American Boy and other titles.
