Dalton Community Members Volunteered at Project Cicero
In early March, Dalton’s Office of Community and Global Partnerships reached out to community members to request book donations from all three divisions for Project Cicero.
Project Cicero collects new and gently used books for use in New York Public Schools. When Middle School Service Co-Chair Joe Quain and his student Committee (Ryan Easton ’21, Cassie Clark ’21, and Brooks Galbraith ’21) requested books, the community responded enthusiastically — contributing 36 boxes of books. A committed group of Dalton volunteers helped sort and organize the books that were collected city-wide, over the weekend of March 6-8.
The Dalton School is proud of its long-standing relationship with Project Cicero and is happy to support learning in public schools. The Office of Community and Global partnerships thanks the entire community for these generous and thoughtful gifts of both books and time!
