Photographer/Activist Visits HS Spanish Language and Culture Class

Cinthya Santos-Briones visited the HS Spanish Language and Culture course and talked about her work with indigenous women from Guatemala and Mexico living in NYC. She also shared her story about her own role as a women's activist with Nahua roots.
Students asked questions about Cinthya's relationship with the women she photographs, the technical elements of her work, and the political content of her art. For more information about Ms. Santos-Briones’ work, visit her website: http://www.cinthya-santosbriones.com/
