House in the High School comprises students from all four grades; normally two Advisors are part of each House group. House meets daily, providing students with a small community within the larger High School community where they encounter opportunities for support, growth, and relaxation. House often provides a forum for discussion of a range of ethical issues that affect the lives of High School students, in particular, topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion. House Advisors play a key role in academic planning, assisting students regarding extracurricular choices, and serving as primary points of contact for parents. House, like the Assignment and the Lab, is deliberately designed so that experienced and caring adults encourage and guide students to become more responsible for their own education.
