Welcome from President & Trustee Representative Arun Yang '06
I am honored to be the President of the Dalton Alumni Council and a member of the Board of Trustees. I joined the Council in 2012 and, for the past two years, served as the Vice President.
In my time on the Council, I have been passionate about championing meaningful connection among Dalton’s alumni network of over 6,000 graduates. I co-founded ‘Dalton Connects,’ the career-focused committee dedicated to providing mentorship, hosting general events such as the annual ‘Night of Networking,’ and organizing industry-specific programming.
The Council is committed to building community with its seven committees:
- Annual Fund (fundraising)
- Bridges (promoting inclusivity and belonging)
- Connects (networking)
- Events (organizing social and educational gatherings)
- Nominations (recruiting/selecting new members)
- Seniors (coordinating programming for alumni 65 and older)
- Young Alumni (30 and under)
