7th Grade Spanish Students Visit "Buena Vista Social Club" on Broadway
As part of their Assignment on Cuba, 7th grade Spanish students traveled to Broadway to see the Tony award-winning musical Buena Vista Social Club.
Tying together themes explored in the classroom, including political changes in Cuba, emigration, and Afro-Cuban music, students got to see what they have studied brought to life on stage, with a live band and songs in Spanish.
