Laura Kleger ’94 and her husband, Justin Schwarz, founded the gallery to showcase contemporary works in a way that feels personal and meaningful.

 

The program included an in-depth tour of the exhibition Vernal. It opened with short films Justin made about two of the featured artists and transitioned to a discussion about the concept of the exhibition, i.e., “return[ing] to the natural world as a site where memory, meaning, and material change converge,” and how each piece connects to it. 

We are so grateful to Laura and Justin for their hospitality. The gallery proved to be an ideal refuge from the pouring rain! Thanks to all who braved the elements to enjoy this special evening.
