5th grade Spanish students visited El Museo del Barrio for a guided visit and hands-on art-making activity to learn about the 3 Kings Parade.
Students learned about how Taíno, African, and European influences come together in the music, stories, and art of this festive holiday, and how Latino communities put on this parade every year in East Harlem. They also got to see their iconic 14-foot king puppets up close!
