Room 1103 Media Lab is Getting Into the Maker Spirit
It makes sense that in these days coming up to Halloween that a new Maker Spirit is now haunting the Media Lab in room 1103, turning it overnight from Media Lab to Fab Lab. Watch the video to hear Middle and High School Art Teacher Mira Gelley and High School Computer Science and Robotics Teacher Charles Forster introduce the new features and ideas behind them.
New tools have materialized including essential and high-tech tools to help students quickly envision and realize sophisticated artistic 3-D and 2-D ideas in more ways than ever before. From hammers, screwdrivers, and pliers; to a new computer-driven high-resolution 3-d printer and vinyl cutters, all the tools are out, visible and accessible to the students.
