popFood is a high school course with focus on developing food preparation and hospitality skills. Taught and organized by students and faculty with a culinary background, modules include coffee making, Mexican cooking, knife skills, and summative events like hosting a Mother's Day Brunch popup restaurant. This year on Mother's Day, we brought together members of the Dalton community -- faculty, family, and friends -- to celebrate the power of good food and the impact of sustainable ingredients. The brunch was inspired by Gabrielle Hamilton's restaurant, Prune.
