French Students Combine Food and Poetry
Grade 6 French students completed a unit on food. The students chose a poem to rewrite and read to the class being mindful of their accent and pronunciation. They wore costumes inspired by their food poems and some even brought their food to share with the class.
A decorated food poetry book was created, including an explanation and meaning of the poem and a glossary of new words.
