Mandarin Students Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival
Middle and High School Mandarin students celebrated one of the most traditional and important holidays in China -- the Mid-Autumn Festival.
In honor of the festival, Mandarin classes listened to and retold traditional Chinese stories such as The Moon Lady, Rabbit, and Wu Gang. Students also drew comic strips, designed holiday cards, and enjoyed some moon cakes and Chinese snacks. Our festive lessons were a great way to celebrate our first week of school!
