Strong Turnout at the K-1 Friendly Chess Tournament
Dalton hosted the K-1 Friendly Chess Tournament with an amazing 72 students in attendance on Friday, January 24!
Kindergarteners and First graders had a great time learning and practicing chess at this in-house tournament. Dalton students Laila Khan ’30, Maiya Kang ’28, and Alexander Rubinstein Mash ’26 also volunteered as Junior Tournament Directors to help mentor their younger peers.
A special thanks to our parent volunteers for helping to organize and run this tournament!
