Myths, Legends & Lore Celebrated at the FP Multicultural Festival
First Program families celebrated and learned about each other’s cultures at the annual Dalton Multicultural Festival.
This year’s festival theme was “Myths, Legends & Lore: The Stories of Our Cultures” which came to life in the FP Lobby through students' vibrantly decorated papier-mâché books. The diversity of our local community brought students to 17 unique culture rooms, each with dynamic art, sports, games, and musical performances. The day included over 25 performances in the classrooms and in the gym. Thank you for an amazing festival with over 1,000 guests in attendance. And, special thanks and gratitude to the MCF committee chairs, all the parents and Dalton HS volunteers, the PA and the First Program.
