Buy! Sell! Sixth Graders Learn About the Stock Market Through Virtual Investing
In preparation for the Stock Market Game, which begins the week of February 3rd, 6th grade math students welcomed family volunteers Christopher Gaspar, Stijn Nieuwerburgh, Eric Leathers, Jonathan Lipton, Loren Ross, and Bo Williams to share their investment knowledge and experience.
The Stock Market game, an online simulation, connects students to the global economy through virtual investing. Students will compete in teams with over 500 other teams across the New York Metropolitan area.
