Dalton Donates Protective Gear to Central Park Medical Unit
Several Dalton departments recently joined forces to help out the Central Park Medical Unit (CPMU), a team of dedicated volunteer EMTs who serve Central Park and the surrounding area.
The CPMU, which is completely funded by private donations, has been called into the front lines against COVID-19 and is running dangerously short on personal protective equipment (PPE). The Dalton Science Department, Culinary Arts Program, and Engineering Department scoured the 89th Street campus for supplies and ended up donating medical-grade gloves and eye protection, and several full-face shields. Thank you to all of the medical professionals putting themselves at risk to help patients!
