FP Spanish Teacher Leads Interactive Conference Workshop on Coding and World Language
Last week, First Program Spanish teacher Natalia Hernández was a presenter at the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers (NYSAFLT) conference.
"Stories, Robots, and Coding,” participants coded the Cubetto robot on a map of Dalton’s First Program—all on Zoom! Natalia shared a variety of coding activities that are excellent opportunities to practice language skills: movement games, group challenges, storytelling, shared writing, and more—all of which have been adapted to distance learning.
