Ali Winston ’02 Discusses Criminal Justice in Short Takes@Lunch

In the third Short Takes@Lunch of the year, Dalton alum Ali Winston ’02 joined moderator and HS History teacher Kevin Slick to discuss his work as an independent reporter covering criminal justice, privacy, and surveillance.
In the virtual event, Ali and Kevin talked about topics ranging from the ways journalism serves as a public record, American police reform, and Ali’s upcoming book on the history of the Oakland Police Department.
