Third Graders Take Geographic Excursion in Central Park
Third grade teacher Rachel Gleit strolled to Central Park with her class for a geographic excursion on Friday, October 15.
The young cartographers practiced their mapping skills by creating a detailed map of the Great Lawn. In preparation for the day, the students reviewed the different parts of a map and learned how to navigate them.
The class enjoyed the fall walk through the park, detailing the Belvedere Castle, trees, trash cans, and more!
