Students Color Rangoli Patterns in Celebration of Diwali
Students gathered throughout the School this week to color rangoli patterns in celebration of Diwali this Thursday, November 4.
Rangoli art is a traditional art form to welcome good luck and brighten the Diwali celebration.
The MS and HS Asian Cultures Club hosted the event for the participants, who enjoyed refreshments while coloring beautiful, pre-printed rangoli patterns as festive decorations for the classroom walls, cafeteria, and 89th Street lobby.
