Asian Cultures Club Hosts Annual Miyazaki Film Festival
Students in Grades 7-12 enjoyed beloved films by Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki in the annual Miyazaki Film Festival, hosted by the High School Asian Cultures Club on Friday, December 3.
Students transformed the 5th Floor hallway at 89th Street to evoke a movie theater atmosphere. Asian snacks and light dinner were served during intermission. Films included Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Arrietty, and Pom Poko.
