In front of a raucous crowd at Spence School, the Tigers took control from the opening tip by jumping out to a 13-0 lead to start the game and never looked back. Dalton was dominant defensively, holding Poly Prep to 20% from the field. Junior Mary Ashley Groot’ 24 led Dalton with 26 points and 12-of-12 from the free-throw line, while Freshman Izzy Wesley ‘26 had 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists.

The victory marked the conclusion of an incredible three-game run through the NYSAIS Tournament as the team averaged nearly a 38-point margin of victory over its three opponents.
