6th Grader Marcos Estevez '28 Wins Scholastic Editing Award
Scholastic selected Dalton 6th Grader Marcos Estevez '28 as a winner of its Scope magazine contest for his work on the story, "The Amazing Yo-Yo."
The contest submission required Marcos to revise and polish the story, which was previously featured in the March edition of the magazine. His edits earned him recognition and a Scholastic Store gift card.
Editorial Director of Scope Kristin Lewis wrote to Marcos, "Your revised article was well-written. We especially enjoyed your sentence construction."
