FP Students Make Bracelets and Sunflower Kits to Support Ukraine
First Program students joined together in support of Ukraine by making bracelets and creating sunflower planting kits this month. Students sold the items at the Spring Fair on Friday, May 27.
The bracelet-making initiative was started by 3rd Grader Annika in partnership with the School’s Human Rights Club. Annika enlisted the help of her fellow 3rd graders to make the special bracelets.
Kindergarteners in Jenny Halliday’s House 33 led the flower pot initiative, recruiting HS students to organize sunflower-making kits for purchase at the Fair. The kits included sunflower seeds and a helpful planting tutorial video!
