6th Grade Spanish Class Makes Jugos de Frutas in the Teaching Kitchen
Sixth Grade Spanish students took trips up to the 14th floor Teaching Kitchen to experiment with Colombian tropical fruit drinks on February 15 and 22.
The visit coincides with their exploration of flora and fauna of Colombia and a recent viewing of the film Encanto.
With the help of Chef Jaz, students made and tasted three jugos: mora (Andean blackberry), maracuyá (passion fruit) and lulo (sometimes called “little orange.”) ¡Qué rico!
