Madame Albino's 6th grade French students celebrated National Poetry Month by reading and reciting poems about French food!
Students were required to read and annotate their poem, explain it to the class, and highlight their favorite line or image. They were assessed on their pronunciation, accuracy, fluidity, and interpretation of their poem. They also created their own artistic page for their assigned poem, which included illustrations to help everyone understand the meaning. They even dressed up like their French food to add fun theatrical flare to their performance. Bon appétit tout le monde!
