Dalton Conference 2023 - A Thought-Provoking, Transformational, and Inspirational Day
This past weekend, Dalton's Head of School José M. De Jesús, and Chief of Equity and Belonging Johára Tucker kicked off The Dalton Conference 2023, sharing key experiences that shaped their lives. Participants included independent school constituents with keynote speakers Elizabeth Rosner, Author of Survivors Café: The Legacy of Trauma and the Labyrinth of Memory, and Jason Craige Harris, Managing Partner at Perception Strategies, small group discussions, and activities.
Launched in 2011, The Dalton Conference is an interactive program focused on productive conversations about diversity and inclusion with representatives from all constituencies from each participating independent school.
Year after year, attendees appreciate the opportunity to meet with school peers, strategize with their school cohort, and hear from students and dynamic guest speakers. This year was no different, proving to be a thought-provoking and inspirational day.
