During the summer, five rising 7th Graders collected accolades for their Spring 2023 submissions to Scholastic Scope Magazine. Bay R. ’29, Ellie C. ‘29, and Genevieve R. ’29 used their artistic talents to express their understanding of the etymology of words in Scope’s Root Power Contest. Sidarth S. ’29 won Scope’s Book of Magic Contest. Reflecting on Sid’s fine work, Scholastic’s Editor-in-Chief, Kristin Lewis remarked, “We loved your creativity!” Samuel S. ’29 won the Paired Texts contest.
