In an evening filled with lively conversation and networking opportunities, more than 50 Alumni from the Classes of 1975-2018 gathered together for the Dalton Alumni Council’s Night of Networking on Thursday, November 9 at Dos Caminos Meatpacking. Alumni came from a range of industries including Advertising, Arts, Education, Entertainment, Finance, Government, Health Care, Law, Media, Non-Profit, Real Estate, Sports, and Technology.
Alumni Council President Joe Franken ’03 welcomed attendees and introduced Head of School José M. De Jesús. José thanked the Alumni Council’s Dalton Connects committee for hosting this signature event. He recognized many familiar faces including Alumni Council members and Alumni Council Vice President Wynter Lastarria ’11 – who is back at 89th Street teaching High School English!
José shared several anecdotes about his second year as Head of School including being interviewed by 6th grade Spanish students entirely in Spanish. He also thanked alums for staying connected to Dalton and for all that they do to continue to give back to the school.
Thanks to Alumni Council’s Dalton Connects Co-Chairs Melissa Frey Levine ’00 and Arun Yang ’06, and Committee Member Parijat Samant ’09 for organizing this event.
