Last weekend, 25 Dalton girls between Kindergarten and 6th Grade were among the 250 girls throughout the state to compete in the 7th NY State Girls Championship. Collectively, they demonstrated exceptional performance —K-3 and K-1 teams secured second place, the K-3 team finished third overall, and several teams garnered top individual standings in the competition. 

Head Coach and Women International Master (WIM) Beatriz Marinello, alongside Coach Alex Kure and Chess Expert Adia Onyago, reviewed games between rounds and provided pointers for upcoming games.
