Advanced Cinema and Advanced Literature Classes Visit the Hispanic Society
After studying the life and work of José Clemente Orozco—one of the most important Mexican muralists—students in Mr. San Juan’s “Advanced Literature” and “Advanced Cinema” courses toured the Hispanic Society Museum & Library’s exhibit - “Anatomy of a Fresco: Drawings of José Clemente Orozco from the Wornick Collection.”
Students were not only able to further their knowledge about the work of Orozco, but they were also able to practice their Spanish-speaking skills in a real-life setting by engaging in an interactive Q&A with the museum curator. After touring the exhibit, students had a lovely meal at Las Palmas Restaurant. Thank you to Kris Santos for coordinating the museum visit and to Smith for helping to chaperone this school trip.
