On Saturday, February 3, twelve Middle Schoolers competed in the Manhattan Chapter MATHCOUNTS contest. Thirty-nine schools participated and students completed three rounds of math tests: Sprint Round, Target Round, and Team Round. The Dalton team came in 6th place overall. Tristan Brien ’28 earned 2nd place and will head to the New York State competition in early March. Sid Singh ‘29 earned 17th place. The team shares a major thanks to their coaches - Miles Gumbs ‘25 and Daniel Wagman ‘25. Congrats to everyone who participated!
